The Hub of Change Makers: Global Success for FPT Open House 2026
The 2026 edition of the FPT Open House drew to a close, further cementing the company's position as a global technological beacon. From April 16th to 18th, over 250 companies from more than 20 countries visited our facilities, which were transformed for three days into a vibrant innovation hub. It was an immersive experience, blending cutting-edge machinery with complex engineering solutions, enriched by networking and technical dialogue among industry leaders who chose FPT as the starting point for defining tomorrow’s industrial standards.

Showcasing FPT Excellence Across Four Dedicated Hubs
With over 25 machines on display and live demonstrations, the exhibition was divided into four strategic areas to illustrate the full versatility of our solutions. The Live Performance Hub—the event’s true nerve center—showcased various real-time machining processes, including the TUDX, our 5-axis universal head with automatic accessory changing. Meanwhile, the Heavy Duty Hub was dedicated to our largest machinery. The Friction Stir Welding Hub drew significant interest, focusing on FSW technology, while a "behind-the-scenes" tour of our internal production lines gave visitors a first-hand look at the manufacturing of FPT’s core components. Highlights included the world premiere of the new vertical lathe VERTIGO, the horizontal milling machine ORIGIN 400 and D-FENCE, our innovative solution for smart and safe workspace management.

A New Format Connecting Industry Leaders
For its 24th edition, the Open House expanded its scope by introducing FPT Industry Talks, a new format designed to highlight the strategic value of collaboration between key industry players. Driven by the belief that technological growth thrives on shared insights, we hosted two high-level panel discussions focused on the Aerospace and Power Generation sectors. Alongside FPT’s Sales Engineering Director, Gianprimo Squizzato, international leaders including Walter Cugno (Thales Alenia Space), Michele Frisoli (Manta Group), Irene Recchia (Baker Hughes) and Jure Androcec (Litostroj Power) shared their visions and strategies for the future of the industry.

Simultaneously, the focus turned to the full product lifecycle with a presentation on After Sales Services. Sergio Dengo, After Sales Services Manager, detailed FPT’s portfolio of solutions aimed at preventing downtime and maximizing long-term performance, featuring a success story from Ahmet Sertok (CEO of Önder Metal) on the productivity gains achieved through new Visormax features.

Thinking Heads Magazine: Innovation Through the Eyes of Our People
The Open House also served as the perfect launchpad for Thinking Heads Magazine, FPT’s latest editorial project. This collaborative magazine features our own employees as contributors, sharing first-hand accounts of the expertise, culture, and innovation that drive the company every day. Through technical articles, case studies, and market analysis, the magazine offers a privileged look not just into the world of FPT, but into the evolution of the entire manufacturing sector, providing our partners with an invaluable body of knowledge.
